Riverside Bartending School Blog - Grand Marnier
Grand Marnier is a Cognac (made in the Cognac region of France). Grand Marnier tastes like oranges and can be used as an upgrade for Triple Sec. The "bitter orange" taste goes well in margaritas and is usually a main ingredient in a Cadillac Margarita. Many people consume Grand Marnier neat (room temperature). There are many ways one may enjoy this wonderful libation. A few of the graduates from Riverside Bartending School were polled and they seemed to be more favorable of the shaken Grand Marnier. Perfectly shaken, the process ads about 23% ice cold water to the mix, which takes the bite out of the 80 proof liqueur.
